Anna Sui Biography

Anna Sui, an American fashion designer, born in 1964. Her structural engineer father and painter mother effected Anna sui very much. It is the reason that why Anna Sui usually used different painter’s drawing to inspirited her design. In every Sui collections, patterned clothing is a must found item, this is because of her parents too. Living in a artist family produced a well understanding daughter, and she well used it in her career and became famous.

Anna Sui dressed her doll and make her own clothes since she was small. Anna Sui attend Parson’s School of Design in New York by a scholarship who received before graduated in senior high school. She worked for

a variety of junior sportswear companies after studies and her business continued to expand in the 1980s.
In 1991, she launched her first runway show. The following year, she opened her first boutique shop at Greene Street in New York City’s Soho District.
